R4R is currently recruiting for the following long-term positions;
COMMUNICATIONS & FUNDRAISING MANAGER

Location:  Lesvos, Greece 

Start Date: As soon as possible

Duration: 6 months  (2 month probationary period)

Reports to: Country Director

POSITION SUMMARY:

Refugee 4 Refugees’ is looking for a passionate and experienced communications and fundraising professional to join our emergency relief operations in Greece. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the NGO sector managing external communications, fundraising campaigns and liaising with media to raise awareness about the context in which an organisation works and its ongoing projects. With full backing and commitment from the Board, and Senior Management Team, you will put in place and deliver on an integrated strategy for income growth and brand development.

The Communications and Fundraising Manager is responsible for R4R’s external and internal communications, managing our donor relations while ensuring successful fundraising strategies are enabling current and future operations. The working base for this position is Lesvos, with travel being required to other R4R operating locations (currently Lesvos, Samos and Athens).

Beautician/Cosmetology Teacher

POSITION SUMMARY:

Refugee 4 Refugees is looking for a passionate and experienced Beautician/Cosmetology Teacher to join our humanitarian operations in Greece. Refugee 4 Refugees intends to improve the skills of its beneficiaries in the field, by providing a course of lessons on a variety of subjects.

It is essential that the Beautician/Cosmetology Teacher will deliver lessons that improve the hairstyling, make-up and beauty skills of our students. The teacher must hold the ability to teach lessons to students with different levels of educational experience, as well as people from a variety of age groups and backgrounds. The teacher must also hold the ability to teach a class which consists of students whose native languages differ from one another. Although translators can assist in student, teacher communication, it is important that the teacher is able to clearly show and explain steps.

Early Years Teacher

POSITION SUMMARY:

Refugee 4 Refugees is looking for a passionate and experienced Early Years Teacher to join our humanitarian operations in Greece. Refugee 4 Refugees intends to improve the skills of its beneficiaries in the field, by providing a course of lessons on a variety of subjects.

The Early Years Teacher will provide care to the children of our students. These students will be enrolled in classes and therefore need childcare in order to attend the classes. The teacher must have at least 3 years of experience working with children between 0 to 4 years old. The educator will be responsible for supervising children with different abilities and guiding their development in a safe environment. The teacher will teach basic English and Greek language skills to children whose native languages differ from one another. They will teach social skills through guided activities and additional early years educational material through play.
