COMMUNICATIONS & FUNDRAISING MANAGER

Location:  Lesvos, Greece 

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 6 months  (1 month probationary period)

Reports to: Country Director

POSITION SUMMARY:

Refugee 4 Refugees’ is looking for a passionate and experienced communications and fundraising professional to join our emergency relief operations in Greece. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the NGO sector managing external communications, fundraising campaigns and liaising with media to raise awareness about the context in which an organisation works and its ongoing projects. With full backing and commitment from the Board, and Senior Management Team, you will put in place and deliver on an integrated strategy for income growth and brand development.

The Communications and Fundraising Manager is responsible for R4R’s external and internal communications, managing our donor relations while ensuring successful fundraising strategies are enabling current and future operations. The working base for this position is Lesvos, with travel being required to other R4R operating locations (currently Lesvos, Samos and Athens).

PROGRAMME MANAGER

Location:  Lesvos, Greece

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 6 months  (1 month probationary period)

POSITION SUMMARY:

Refugee 4 Refugees’ is looking for a passionate and experienced Programme Manager to join our emergency relief operations in Greece. The Programme Manager is responsible for the implementation of all programming by R4R. The responsibilities are fourfold. Firstly, the Programme Manager is responsible for ensuring that all R4R programming across the various operational bases are implemented on time and to scope. This includes taking full responsibility for ensuring that programming is in line with sphere standards and mainstreams protection commitments. Secondly, the Programme Manager is responsible for ensuring that programming is in line with community needs and in line with findings of needs assessments, and that all project results are captured in reports. Thirdly, the Programme Manager is responsible for developing programme strategies for the mid and long term. Fourthly, the Programme Manager is responsible for coordination with external stakeholders to ensure complementarity and collaboration.

The working base of this position is Lesvos but frequent travel is required to monitor and/or implement operations across Greece. Given the ever changing needs of the refugee crisis in Greece, R4R could ask the position holder to relocate to another location within Greece at any given time as per organisational needs.

HUMAN RESOURCES & ADMIN MANAGER

Location:  Lesvos, Greece

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 6 months  (1 month probationary period)

Reports to: Country Director

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Human Resources & Admin Manager will report directly to the Country Director, s/he is responsible for ensuring that organisational systems related to HR Management, Development & Performance Management are both in place, and followed. Where systems, policies and processes exist, the Human Resources & Admin Manager will troubleshoot and offer solutions for improvement. The Human Resources & Admin Manager will also identify needs for systems to be created to ensure consistency and compliance in organisational systems across Refugee 4 Refugees (R4R). This position oversees HR needs across all R4R operations (currently Lesvos, Samos & Athens). 

While the working base of this position is Lesvos, but given the ever changing needs of the refugee crisis in Greece, R4R could ask the position holder to relocate to another location within Greece at any given time as per organisational needs.

FINANCE & ADMIN MANAGER

Location:  Lesvos, Greece

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 6 months  (1 month probationary period)

Reports to: Country Director

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Finance & Admin Manager will report directly to the Country Director. S/he will be responsible for monthly financial reporting, management and office administration of R4R budgets and ensuring that R4R financial policies (including fund request policies) are in place, followed and recorded.

The Manager will provide technical assistance to staff in implementing and complying with financial and administrative procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and serve as the financial liaison to the organisation, local NGOs, and other implementing partners. This role will be responsible for the Finance & Admin in all the locations where R4R operates (currently Lesvos, Samos and Athens), and travel at short notice may be required.

FIELD PROJECT COORDINATOR (LESVOS)

Location:  Lesvos, Greece

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 6 months  (1 month probationary period)

Reports to: Programme Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:

Overall the Field Project Coordinator; Lesvos is responsible for the delivery of R4R’s Projects in Lesvos. This is essentially ensuring a safe, consistent, and dignified service for all eligible service users. The Project Coordinator proactively identifies opportunities for improvement of service delivery and ensures that the system is accessible to vulnerable groups, efficient, and is capable of scaling. Where projects need to be adapted to meet changing needs, the Project Coordinator leads this process.
